Complementary compound feed is a type of feed with a high content of certain substances, and which, by reason of its composition, is sufficient for a daily ration only if it is used in combination with other feeding stuffs. This category contains a wide variety of products. The best known are mineral mixtures for cattle and "concentrates" with all feed additives and minerals for farmers who mix feed for pigs and poultry themselves.
